Internet resources: Google Maps adds maps of Georgia, Afghanistan and Iraq

Detailed maps of Georgia, Afghanistan, Iraq and some other countries have been released within Google’s mapping service.

Google Maps mapping service has added detailed maps of Bagdad, Tbilisi and Kabul. Besides, better maps were offered for Ecuador, Honduras, Saudi Arabia, and Norfolk Island.

Company’s representatives say they have managed to provide more details in the maps of certain regions due to the help of local users. On their own users added roads, houses and other objects in Google Maps Maker service, the service which enables users to “complete” maps.
