IT abroad: Google releases new software for HTML 5
Google has announced new tools for developers working with HTML 5, and its updated Swiffy with extensions. Swiffy is a flash design-to-HTML5 conversion tool. It was introduced in July 2011 for converting Flash SWF files to HTML 5.
To speed up the development process, Google has built the Swiffy Extension for Flash Professional. The extension enables you to convert animation to HTML5 with one click. The extension is available for both Mac and Windows.
Also Google announced that it has open-sourced its Sfntly font programming library. Now both Java and C++ programmers can use Sfntly to quickly and easily develop code to read, edit and subset OpenType and TrueType font. In addition, Google has introduced a new tool to help Web developers manage Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
