Society and Reading: Fifth All-Russian Conference “National Program for Reading Promotion and Development: Problems and Prospects” runs in Moscow

The Fifth All-Russian Conference “National Program for Reading Promotion and Development: Problems and Prospects” is running in Moscow on November 18 2011. The event is organized by the Interregional Center of Library Cooperation in partnership with the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications.

The conference will summarize the experience accumulated within five years of the National Program for Reading Promotion and Development implementation. On the agenda are urgent problems, achievements and prospects in the area of reading.

The event is expected to bring together representatives of federal ministries and agencies, administrations of constituent territories of the Russian Federation, leading experts of cultural, educational, scientific institutions, publishers and booksellers, Media and public figures.
