Internet resources: Web portal on Russia’s tourism due in December

December 2011 will see the launch of a web portal oriented on tourism in Russia. Called “Welcome tо Russia” it is expected to bring together information regarding tourism potentials of the whole of Russia, announced the Head of the Federal Agency for Tourism Alexander Radkov at the inauguration of a three-day International Forum “Guidelines of the Future” which debuted in Kazan.

The launch of the web portal on tourism will offer regions of Russia a good opportunity to promote their tourism products on the world market, Alexander Radkov mentioned.

He is sure that it is highly important to integrate region-specific information into the portal.

“Welcome tо Russia” portal will be available through all main search engines, social networks, relevant information and links to the web portal will be presented on the websites of our embassies, and consulates”, said the Head of the Federal Agency for Tourism of Russia.
