President of Russia: Dmitry Medvedev discusses Internet problems with bloggers

On November 9 2011 the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev held a meeting with his supporters – representatives of Internet community in order to discuss the development of Internet and web technologies.

The participants in the discussion included bloggers, people involved in internet projects, online media and movements, and a number of public figures.

At the meeting Dmitry Medvedev promised to contribute to better quality of materials posted on public web resources, and also said he believed that the authority needed supporters among Internet communities in order to make government modern and revenant.

The meeting took place at “New Manege” Exhibition Hall in Moscow.
