November 9 - 27 2011 the Gallery of Classic Photography in Moscow is running an exhibition called “Dialogue: Church, Society, State”, which marks 65th birth anniversary of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.

The exhibition is separated into several sections, which in their turn cast the light on various aspects of activities of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church and span the whole period of his service. Photo materials to go on show within the exhibition were selected from the press-service archive of His Holiness and RIA Novosti photo archive. The exhibition has also attracted photographs from Patriarch Kirill’s private archive, archives of St. Petersburg theological schools, private archives of Patriarch Alexy II and hierarchs of the Russian Church, Publishing Council archive, and the archive of the Hand-Made and Ecclesiastical Product Factory “Sofrino” of the Russian Orthodox Church.
