IT and Education: 3D lessons held at schools of Artyom town

Now lessons of nature study, biology, zoology and anatomy are held at schools of the town of Artyom (Primorsky Krai) in 3D format.

According to a spokesman to the Department of Education and Science of Primorsky Krai, the length of new lessons does not exceed that of standard ones. They have been designed in partnership with the Ministry of Education of Russia.

For example, one of 3D films on nature study intended for pupils in 5th year is entitled “Journey to the Sun”. As children watch it they travel with astronauts, witness eclipses, Aurora Borealis, magnetic fields and solar flares. Teachers of Artyom town highlight that the innovation contributes to a better understanding and mastering of new material.

The press service of Primorsky Krai administration announces that starting from the next term 3D lessons for schoolchildren of Artyom town are expected to be introduced on the curriculum.
