Publishing and Bookselling: First International Book Forum underway in Moscow

First International Book Forum is debuting in Moscow on November 1-2 2011. This is a unique event in Russia which brings together representatives of the publishing industry from all over the world.

The key goal of the International Book Forum is to show off to publishing companies, eBooks producers and providers the opportunities for efficient development of publishing business and eBook segment in the light of world trends.

The forum’s program includes meetings of agents, authors, translators and publishers. Urgent issues, first and foremost, copyright-related issues will be discussed by experts within the conference and roundtables.

International Book Forum will launch a series of practical conferences, workshops and presentations based on topical issues of publishing business, development of eBook market and others. Among partners of the forum are major associations, like the Association of Booksellers of Independent States, the Association of Publishers of Russia, and the Alliance of Independent Regional Publishers.
