World libraries: New modern library opens its doors in Dnepropetrovsk

A new modern library has been opened in Dnepropetrovsk at the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine. The library provides computer database of literature, Wi-Fi connection and a repository numbering 600 000 volumes. There are also an Internet center, exhibition and conference halls.

A separate five-storey building was built to house the new academic library. The library provides access to tutorials and academic periodicals. Its patrons can search for literature on engineering, economics and the humanities. Users will find it convenient to work with literature electronic catalogue, they can also access e-textbooks, monographs and academic journals. The library has got three reading rooms.
