IT and Society: Yandex launches search app for iPhone

Yandex has released a search app for iPhone which offers iPhone users the fastest and convenient access to Yandex’s search engine and its services.

The user can enter either a search query or a website address into the app’s search bar. The app will know what the user is looking for and will then either offer a page with search results or bring the user directly to the necessary website. The app is also handy when it comes to quickly finding weather forecasts or currency exchange information. To provide users with fast access to their favourite websites, the app offers customizable bookmarks.
