International events: Russia and France keep preparing for Cross Russian-French Seasons of Languages and Literature

December 12th 2011 saw a meeting which was attended by the Head of Rossotrudnichestvo (the Federal Agency on the CIS, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation) Farit Mukhametshin and Edouard Courtial, who has been recently appointed as the Secretary of State for French Citizens Living Abroad. At the meeting they voiced their opinions on the upcoming Season of Russian Language and Literature in France and Season of French Language and Literature in Russia. Parties also touched upon issues concerning preparation for the session of the Organizing Committee for Cross Seasons due in the 2nd half of 2012 in Moscow.

Apart from that, parties shared experience of the work with compatriots and promotion of national languages abroad.
