Internet and Society: Ministry of Education and Science of Russia launches “Discussion club” on Internet

The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation has announced the launch of a “Discussion Club” – an official forum where Internet surfers are free to state their opinions, suggest ideas on development of education and science or ask questions they take an interest in.

The Ministry states that the “Discussion club” – is a place where users may not only communicate with each other, but also join public discussion of crucial issues related to development of education and science. The resource also keeps users up-to-date with the work conducted by the Ministry – it posts news, analytical articles, videos and information graphics. Apart from this, Net-surfers may follow the implementation of a priority national project “Education”.

Authors of best ideas announced on the website may get an opportunity to run video presentations of their ideas as a live webcast, to give other club members a chance to express their opinions and ask questions. Best proposals voiced by users will enrich the database of ideas called to promote modernization in education and science.
