IT and Culture: “Russian Museum: Virtual branch” opens in Svetogorsk

The ninety-ninth information and educational center “Russian Museum: Virtual branch” is opening its doors at children’s division of Svetogorsk City Library on January 25th 2012.

Multimedia programs and video films on the history of Russian art, offered by the Russian Museum as a part of the virtual branch’s inauguration, will noticeably broaden the library’s databank of materials devoted to Russian culture. Digital catalogues of key Russian Museum’s exhibitions, educational movies, interactive game software, which include high-quality artwork images, as well as articles authored by leading museum staff members, will be useful to all library patrons.
