Internet and Society: New project, focused on kids’ safety on Internet, goes online
The Russian Association for Electronic Communications (RAEC) has announced the launch of a new project known as I-Deti, completed in cooperation with Google Russia. The project is a forum for discussion of approaches to secure kids on Internet with regard for development of Russian legislation and international practice.
On I-Deti portal RAEC recommends only those web resources which are safe and useful for children, provides access to educational materials, analyzes best examples from the international practice and enables the public and experts to discuss the national legislation.
I-deti.org keeps users up-to-date with opinions of experts in the field of Internet security, lawyers, psychologists and state officials on the regulation of children’s safety on Internet in Russia. To view expert comments please visit http://i-deti.org/experts/.
