World culture: One masterpiece-exhibit runs in Kazan

The canvas “Adoration of the shepherds” by Jan van Duyts is put on display at the Museum of Private Collections in Kazan. The full attention is attracted to one painting only. “Adoration of the shepherds” – is the masterpiece of 17th century painted by the Flemish artist Jan van Duyts. His works are exhibited in museums of Leipzig, Hague and Braunschweig.

Jan van Duyts – is the master of paintings based on mythological and religious themes. “Adoration of the shepherds” shows traditional motives of Christmas. The painting was recently restored by Kazan masters.

One masterpiece-exhibition in Kazan is closing on January 27th.
