Society and Church: “Orthodox Don” expo-fair runs in Rostov-on-Don

From January 11th till January 16th 2012 Rostov-on-Don is holding “Orthodox Don” expo-fair which unveils sacred relics from monasteries of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Greece and Jerusalem.

The exposition also showcases works taken by the press-service photographers of Rostov-on-Don Diocese - Vladislav Samoilik and Sergei Venyavsky. Visitors of the exhibition will have a chance to watch films on Orthodoxy by “Orthodox Don” TV Studio, and learn about life of Rostov-on-Don Diocese.

The expo-fair is accompanied by the rich cultural and educational program, which in particular features International theoretical and practical conference “Christmas and Christmastime in traditions of Orthodox peoples of the world”.
