Internet resources: New search engine Index.by to roll out in Belarus

A new search engine known as Index.by is to be soon launched in Belarus.

Index.by search algorithm doesn’t rest upon “Yandex” or Google technologies. The system will solely concentrate on Belarusian websites, and as its developers claim, will be totally spamless.

All sites in the engine’s catalogue will undergo constant manual control and will be evaluated by real people. The principal advantage of the new search engine, according to its authors, is accurate search results delivery based on specific regions and districts.

Along with it, search engine’s authors have developed a catalogue, website ratings, stats freely provided to Belorussian resources which enable to keep an eye on visits in real time.

In the spring Index.by will undergo beta-testing. The new search engine will be available in Russian and Belorussian.
