400th anniversary of the Romanov Dynasty: Museum of the Romanov Family to open its doors in Tobolsk in 2013

A new House-Museum of the Romanov Family will be set up in Tobolsk by 2013 to celebrate 400th anniversary of the Romanov Dynasty, announced Anatoly Panfilov - Deputy Chair of the Committee for Protection and Use of Historical-Cultural Heritage Objects of Tyumen Region: “The museum of the Romanovs – the only one in the Urals is expected to be opened in the former Governor’s House (residence of governors)”.

The museum’s design documentation is to be soon completed, while renovation works are supposed to start in 2012.
