January 27th–28th 2012 Alexander Solzhenitsyn House of Russia Abroad (Moscow) is inviting all interested to take part in the Eighth International Scientific Conference “Icon in Russian Literature and Culture”.

The conference is supposed to touch upon the following issues: icon’s divinity, iconology, iconography, icon’s aesthetics, icon and word, icon in literature, icon in the literature of white émigré, word in the icon, literature about icon etc.
