Libraries of Russia: “Biblionight” to be held in Russia in April 2012

Annual socio-cultural event of national level will be held on Friday night of the third full week of April (in 2012 it is 20-21 April) "in order to support the literary process, reading promotion, development of libraries, museums and publishing, as well as the promotion of new formats of passing free time."

Among the participants of the event will be organizations related to books and literature: libraries, bookstores, publishing houses, literary clubs, museums, galleries and other cultural centers, which will develop a special program on site, open to all those interested to visit it and submit the appropriate application. The organizers expect the "Biblionight" to cover "almost all Russian cities."
