Book publishing and distribution: International Book Fair launched in Vilnius

23 to 26 February 2012 in Vilnius takes place the Vilnius International Book Fair, with the participation of publishers from 9 countries: Lithuania, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Germany, France and Italy.

Vilnius Book Fair is the traditional meeting place for publishers, booksellers, local and international writers and readers. During this period, there are many cultural events of all kinds and genre.

Like every year, the exhibition is attended by all major Lithuanian publishing houses, which present their new editions on the occasion of the fair. In total, the fair is attended by 250 companies and firms, 41 of which are foreign.

This year, the Russian company "Informnauka" which distributes Russian periodicals and books, specializing in the first place, the supply of scientific and technical publications, as well as subscription and distribution of foreign periodicals and scientific publications Russia, is also attending the exhibition. In Vilnius, the company presents scientific, technical literature, scientific and periodicals, as well as popular literature.

Honorable guests from Russia, representatives of the Alliance of Independent Publishers, also came to this year fair.
