Society and culture: Sculptures of eminent Russian cultural workers by Mikhail Anikushin displayed in St. Petersburg

Sculptural portraits of prominent figures of Russian culture, made by St. Petersburg honorary citizen, Mikhail Anikushin, are presented at the exhibition opened on February 20, 2012 in the Baltic Media Center (St. Petersburg). The vernisage is the first of a series of cultural events scheduled for the year of the 95th birthday anniversary of the author of the monument to Alexander Pushkin on Arts Square.

The exposition features a bronze bust of Pushkin, as well as sculptures of Anton Chekhov, Reinhold Gliere, Georgy Sviridov.
