History of Russia: Exhibition in honor of the 150th birthday anniversary of Savva Morozov opened in Moscow

February 15, 2012 at the Green Hall of the Moscow Art Theatre was opened "The Phenomenon of Savva Morozov" exhibition marking the 150th anniversary of birth of Savva Timofeevich Morozov (1862-1905) - philanthropist, industrialist, shareholder and co-director of the Moscow Art Theatre.

The exhibition was prepared by the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre and the Museum of the Moscow Art Academic Theater jointly with the Russian State Art Library and the Main Archive Department of the city of Moscow.

The exhibition features photographs, paintings, costumes, stage props, and documents.
