14 February 2012

Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza which makes part of the “Arts Golden Triangle” of Madrid, features an exhibition of works by Marc Chagall, February 14 – May 20, 2012.

The exhibition includes works made in different years, beginning from 1911, when the artist received a scholarship to study in Paris. The exhibition is divided into sections, each devoted to Marc Chagall's personality, his friendship with French artists and avant-garde poets. This principle of organization of the exposition is to help visitors trace the creative evolution of Chagall. In the center of attention - his paintings on biblical themes, as well as the monumental forms of art - mosaics, ceramics, sculpture and stained glass.
