Regions of Russia: “The Peace-Building Language of Diplomacy” exhibition in Blagoveshchensk
On February 9th 2012 Maravyov-Amursky Regional Research Library of Amur, Electronic Reading Room of the Regional Access Center to Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library’s Information Resources, opened a themed exhibition “The Peace-Building Language of Diplomacy”, which marks a professional holiday – “Diplomat Day”.
The exhibition has been organized in partnership with the representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in Blagoveshchensk and an autonomous non-profit organization “Institute of People’s Diplomacy of the Pacific Rim”.
The inauguration ceremony saw donation of books on international cooperation of the Pacific Rim to Amur Regional Research Library from the private library of N. N. Prikhodko, Director of the “Institute of People’s Diplomacy of the Pacific Rim”.
As a finale there was a presentation of Amur Regional Access Center to Electronic Resources of Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library.
The event brought together students of Blagoveshchensk Pedagogical University, teachers of the pedagogical college and librarians.
