Education and Society: Portal focused on introduction of a new “Fundamentals of religious cultures and secular ethics” course at schools to go on Internet

A specially designed portal devoted to introduction of a new course “Fundamentals of religious cultures and secular ethics” at Russian schools will go on Internet this year.

The establishment of such a resource has been stipulated by the plan of events for 2012-2013, under which this course will be taught at schools in all regions of Russia. In accordance with the order of the government, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia is commissioned with the course’s information support.

Under the program, conferences addressing introduction of this subject will be conducted in federal districts between 2012 and 2013.
