Internet resources: Google News adds Editors’ Choice

Google has announced that Google News service has added a new option – Editors’ Picks. This is a special section on Google News home page, which features 5 top materials of news brands, chosen by their editors.

Editors’ Picks window is to the left of news results at news.google.ru. Under their logos publications-partners present links to materials – articles, interviews, information graphics or selected photographs.

The Editors’ Picks gives access to world’s major news brands - Reuters, Time, The Washington Post, The New Yorker, Los Angeles Times and The Wall Street Journal. Leading Russian editions have also joined the list, which is constantly growing.
