Publishing and Book Distribution: Abu Dhabi International Book Fair kicked off

The 22nd International Book Fair which kicked off on March 28 2012 in Abu Dhabi has brought together more than 900 exhibitors from 45 countries. It is held at the National Expo Center, where publishers from all over the world are showing off their latest products – over 500 000 books in 33 languages.

This year in the spotlight of the exhibition is the publishing industry in the United Kingdom. British experts will hold workshops, present quality professional programs for publishing promotion in Middle East and North Africa countries. Expo center’s spacious halls provide area for practices exchange between professionals and beginners in “digital printing industry” from Arab countries, “Illustrator’s and Creator’s Corners”, where the fair’s visitors of any age can test their abilities by directing their creative energy at artistic and creative content, and also take part in a poetry forum. The book fair which is running till April 2, features over 200 various events, including meetings with favorite writers, poets, famous publishers.
