Russian language: The 2nd International Festival of Russian language’s experts “About Russia in Russian” held in Moscow

International Festival of Russian language’s experts “About Russia in Russian” for foreign children, which is a successor of the International Olympiad “About Russia in Russian” (2011) is held in Moscow in February-March 2012.

On March 28 in the celebration hall of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour (Moscow) is held a ceremony of awarding of winners of the international Festival of Russian languages’ experts “About Russia in Russia”.

The participants of the festival could appear foreign children who study the Russian language in public and private educational institutions in Moscow and other regions of Russia, including educational institutions in embassies, consulates and representative offices of foreign countries in Russia.

More than 300 children from Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and the Leningrad, the Sverdlovsk, the Samara, the Saratov, the Novosibirsk, the Krasnodar, the Stavropol regions as well as the Republic of Tatarstan have taken part in the Olympiad.

In the course of the festival “About Russia in Russian” 5 competitions were held: “The connoisseurs of the Russian language”, the reading competition “Great Russian Word”, the vocal competition “Through Russia with a song”, the drawing competition presenting paper “I draw Russia”, the photo contest presenting picture “The image of Russia”.
