Issues of creation and maintenance of the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library branches discussed at a meeting of the Federation Council

March 14, 2012 on the instructions of the chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation V. I. Matvienko, was held a working meeting of the Federation Council Committee for Budget and Financial Markets on the issue of financial support for creation and maintenance of regional branches of the Presidential Library.

The meeting was presided by the Committee chair E. V. Bushmin. The meeting was attended by plenipotentiary representative of the Russian Government in the Federation Council, A. V. Yatskin; Director of Department of fiscal policy in social sphere and science M. M. Kotyukov, representing the Ministry of Finance, and Deputy Director of Department of fiscal policy in social sphere and science, E. V. Muhtiyarova.

The Presidential Property Management Department of Russia was represented by Head of Finance and Economic Management E. Yu. Sukhorukova and Head of Information and Communications Office S. A. Evseev; the Presidential Library was represented by its executive secretary, V. A. Beresnev and Deputy Director-General for branches S. M. Makeev.

Also, the meeting was attended by representatives of executive bodies of subjects of the Russian Federation: Republic of Karelia, Chuvashia, Moscow, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Ryazan, Volgograd, Magadan and Tyumen regions.
