IT and Society: Mobile app for accessing govt services portal made available

A special application known as “Gosuslugi” which provides access to govt services portal (www.gosuslugi.ru) via iOS and Android mobile devices has been developed and can be now downloaded in App Store and Google play/Android Market. In a short time this app has entered the list of the most popular programs for mobile devices and, in particular, has become the leader among all free applications downloaded for iPad.

“Gosuslugi” app supports the portal’s basic options: authorization, personal office, customizable notifications, view of services catalogue. It also enables users to submit applications for receiving services in demand and also to find the sites where they can receive govt services on the map. The application provides information on invoices and payments.

According to developers, “Gosuslugi” mobile app has made the procedure of receiving govt services electronically more convenient and accessible, as presently they are available via all Internet-connected devices, including touchscreen devices which are recently growing in popularity.
