Society and Mass Media: The Art Newspaper to debut in Russia

The Art Newspaper devoted to fine art is expected to come to Russia. Like its British counterpart, the Russian edition will come out on a monthly basis. The press release of The Art Newspaper Russia reads that the newspaper’s first issue will be available for sale in April 2012.

The press release also mentions that the readers will have an opportunity to become subscribers of the electronic newspaper with a focus on the news of the world art life. Besides, The Art Newspaper will be accessible for iPhone and iPad apps users.

The Art Newspaper Russia will be shown off on March 26th 2012 at A. S. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.

The British edition of the newspaper, which is considered to be one of the most authoritative on the art-market, is issued by the Italian Umberto Allemandi publishing company, which holds a license for the publication of all its materials. Since 1990 The Art Newspaper has been published in New York.
