IT and Society: Roundtable discussion “Children’s Internet in Russia. 2012-2018” runs in Moscow

March 6th 2012, Moscow, “Smart Internet” Foundation and the Coordination Center for TLD .RU are running a roundtable discussion “Children’s Internet in Russia. 2012-2018” which addresses the development prospects of .ДЕТИ domain in 2012-2018 and establishment of Internet-security zones for Russian kids.

Participants of the roundtable will touch upon an application to ICANN for the registration of .ДЕТИ TLD, elaboration of registration rules in the future domain, and who will be the one to decide on the registration of resources in .ДЕТИ domain.

The roundtable discussion will focus on operation and development of children’s domain for the future years and plans of the Foundation and the Coordination Center on enriching this domain zone with interesting and useful content for kids.
