Memorable dates of Russia: Exhibition of works by young artists timed to the 200th anniversary of victory in the Patriotic War of 1812 held in Moscow

Thematic exhibition of works by young artists, which is presented to the audience at the "Izmailovo" Gallery, Moscow, from April 18, is devoted to the 200th anniversary of Russia's victory in the war of 1812.

The main objective of this exhibition project is to create a vivid image of a bygone era - the early nineteenth century. This is primarily battle scenes of the Patriotic War, the images of the fearless defenders of the motherland. It also features landscapes of Russian villages and towns, princely and royal estates, still lives with antiques.

This exhibition is part of the exhibition projects of the Gallery, aimed at supporting young professional artists. All authors who have contributed to the exhibition are graduates of art schools of Moscow, representatives of the Moscow classical school of painting, who continue the best traditions of Russian realistic art.
