Information technology and society: International forum “ITForum 2020 / Informatization in our lives” in Nizhny Novgorod

The 5th International forum of Information technologies “ITForum 2020 / Informatization in our lives is held in Nizhny Novgorod on April 18-20, 2012.

As Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Sergei Potapov noted at the press-conference, that the 1st day of the Forum is devoted to the construction of e-government in Russia, the 2nd – to the problems of creation and development of e-society, and the last day will be devoted to e-business draft.

The congress part of the Forum includes about 30 activities: round tables, debates, conferences, on which the use of Information technologies in the field of education and medicine, the translation of the printed mass media into e-form, the problems of Internet security and etc. are discussed.

Their achievements in the field of information technologies at the Forum will be presented by almost 70 companies. Besides Russian participants the guests from Vietnam, Austria, the USA, The Ukraine and Belorussia are expected.  

“The main purposes of the Forum are the importance of disclosure of information and telecommunication technologies in the life of modern man, demonstration of the latest developments and achievements, distribution of the best practice in various fields of application of information technologies”, Sergei Potapov said.
