Internet and society: “E-Parliament” future work discussion website launched

Launched "Electronic Parliament: Project Discussion" website intended to be a place for public forum for discussion on the future functioning of "e-parliament" - Internet users can send in their suggestions, opinions and ideas about its problems.

This site was created by a group of deputies of the State Duma and Federation Council members.

Among the key topics for discussion at the site is, for example, "My Deputy": the project organizers collect opinions and suggestions about which kind of information about MPs and their work is particularly lacking, what information user find obligatory to be made public on the Internet. The "Bills Discussion" accepts suggestions on what information about the bills is lacking from the Internet and what information should be posted without fail.

Using the website users can vote in favor of the proposals already published, and after logging in they can even leave your comments to them or add their own suggestions.

The completion date for proposals and discussion - May 21, 2012.

The result of the project will be the concept of creating an electronic parliament formed on the basis of proposals which have scored the maximum number of votes on the Internet.
