World history: “The Annexation of Bessarabia to Russia in the Light of the Centuries-Old Moldavian-Russian-Ukrainian Cooperation” International Conference in Kishinev

1 to 5 April, 2012 in Kishinev, takes place the International scientific conference "The Annexation of Bessarabia to Russia in the light of the Centuries-Old Moldovan-Russian-Ukrainian Cooperation" and the student's school, "Analysis of Different Historiographical Concepts on the Centuries-Old Moldovan-Russian-Ukrainian Cooperation and Russia's foreign policy in the Balkans ".

According to the moderator of the conference, Sergey Nazariya (Association of Historians and Political Scientists Pro-Moldova, Center for Strategic Analysis and Prognosis EST - VEST), the following topics will be discussed:

- "The Moldovan-Ukrainian-Russian political relations, cultural relations and co-liberation struggle of the peoples of South-Eastern Europe in the 15th – 19th centuries";

- "The Peace of Bucharest, and its consequences. The Principality of Moldova and Bessarabia as a part of Russia: the two paths of development of the Moldovan people in the 19th century ";

- "The origin and evolution of the Bessarabia question in international relations in 1918-1940s";

- "The USSR and South-Eastern Europe during the World War II";

- "The Republic of Moldova in the modern system of international relations, its interaction with the neighbors (Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary) and prospects for development of the Moldovan state."

The conference has brought together historians and political scientists from Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Holland, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, USA, Ukraine, France.
