Internet and legislation: Russian Ministry of Justice organized the discussion of laws on Garant.ru

In a joint project of the "Garant" company and the Ministry of Justice of Russia in the GARANT system and on garant.ru is organized a discussion of the current legislation. Now all portal users have an opportunity to voice their opinions on regulations, leave comments, opinions, to inform about the difficulties of implementing the laws in practice.

The involvement of citizens in the work of government bodies corresponds to the global trend and is reflected by the increasingly popular concept known as "open government". The implementation of this interaction between the society and the state became possible due to the increasing informatization of the society, development of information and legal technology, the Internet, the increasing popularity of electronic media and the spread of legal reference systems.

Monitoring of the enforcement of the current legislation in a joint project of the company "Garant" and the Ministry of Justice of Russia is intended to identify the problems and shortcomings of the existing legislation. Information obtained from users of the GARANT system and the Internet audience, will allow the Ministry of Justice to more fully identify the shortcomings of current legislation, to identify gaps and contradictions in the legal regulation. Analysis of proposals and comments will be used to work on further improvement of the existing legislation, and at the adoption of new laws.
