Memorable dates of Russia: The exhibition “Golden age of Russian porcelain and glass” marking the 200th anniversary of the Russian Patriotic War of 1812, in Moscow

May 29 2012, the State Historical Museum opens an exhibition “Golden age of russian porcelain and glass. 1790-1830. From the collection of the Historical museum” marking the 200th anniversary of the Russian Patriotic War of 1812.

There are 600 pieces of porcelain and glassworks in the style of Classicism and Empire created by the Russian imperial and private enterprises during the most fruitful period of their activity called the golden age in the development of "high styles" in the applied arts.

Among the exhibits you will see unique memorial monuments decorated with portraits of the heroes of the anti-Napoleonic wars and Patriotic War of 1812, representations of scenes and memorable dates.
