Russian culture abroad: Unique editions from the Foreign Literature Library to be featured in Russian Centers of Culture and Science abroad

May 18, 2012 the Rudomino All-Russian State Library for Foreign Literature hosted a meeting of Konstantin Kosachev, Head of Rossotrudnichestvo with Catherine Genieva, Director General of the Library.

The Rudomino All-Russian State Library for Foreign Literature is one of the largest public and academic libraries in Russia.

One of the aspects of cooperation suggested by the head of the agency, will be filling the libraries and bookstores of Russian Centers of Science and Culture (RCSC), with unique bilingual editions of great literary artists of the past and present.

E. Yu. Genieva and K. I. Kosachev also agreed to consider the possibility of jointly organizing the creative journeys of young Russian writers abroad to meet with fellow countrymen and local creative intelligentsia on the basis of the relevant RCSC.
