Information technologies and culture: “Izborsk” Museum Reserve to acquire a unique multimedia equipment

The Izborsk Museum Reserve will acquire a unique multimedia equipment for the North West region.

According to the Deputy Director of the Museum Lyudmila Soldatenko, the Museum Reserve “Izborsk” started purchasing the special equipment for the historical exposition in the estate of Schvedov, reconstructed in the framework of the preparation to the 1150th anniversary of Izborsk.

“A new exhibition opens in the 21st century, so we want it to be special. You will not find similar multimedia equipment anywhere else in the North West, except for the Museum of Water in Saint-Petersburg. This equipment (plasma table, formovisor) will allow to learn about the history of Izborsk, its maps, charts as well as the history of the sieges of the fortress in 3D format”, - she said.
