Information technology and culture: Internet TV center for viewing concerts opened in the Ural conservatory

Internet television center with a unique technology for viewing concerts opened in the Ural State Conservatory n. a. M. P. Mussorgsky. Speaking at the press conference, the Rector of the Conservatory, Valery Shkarupa, said that spectator can switch on his own from one camera webcasting the concert to another.

“Internet television center will be operating around the clock. In addition to online concerts, visitors to the portal will be offered various videos from the archives of the conservatory. Video files are archived in various quality, including FullHD”, said V. Shkarupa.

In Yekaterinburg, internet television center of the conservatory will be the second online platform for viewing concerts of classical music. A pioneer in Internet broadcasting was the Sverdlovsk Philharmonic society, which opened a virtual concert hall last year.
