To the 67th anniversary of the Great Victory: The action “I remember! I am proud!” in the Tula region

On the eve of the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 the State Museum-Reserve “Kulikovo field” carries out the action of memory “I remember! I am proud!” In the framework of the campaign in 26 educational institutions of the Tula region there will be hold an exhibition “Kulikovo field – 1941. Unknown battle.”

In the framework of the campaign the staff of the Museum-Reserve “Kulikovo field” and Tula educators will introduce Tula pupils the martial past of their Homeland. Kulikovo field is known not only for Mamaevo battle. Here in November-December 0f 1941 was held a heavy fighting in the defensive and offensive operations of the Battle of Moscow and the defense of Tula.

The exhibition “Kulikovo field – 1941”.Unknown battle” was released last year. The acquaintance was dedicated to the memorable date – to the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Moscow and the defense of Tula. The new exhibition of the museum reflects the documents and materials of the fighting troops of the 3rd Army on the territory of the South and South-East part of the Tula region on November, 2 – December 15, 1941. During this period of defensive and offensive battles for Moscow and Tula was held heavy fighting on the Kulikovo field as well.

There was a film as an illustration to the exhibition, which represented living chronicles of military events of 1941 in the Tula region.
