Russian history: Exhibition devoted to the history of Russian arms in Moscow

2 May 2012

The Moscow House of Photography is hosting "Invincible and Legendary" exhibition, featuring about 200 photographs taken between 1910 and 2012 which demonstrate the development of Soviet and Russian defense industry. Images from the collection of the "Moscow House of Photography" Museum, as well as works by contemporary authors are part of almost a century-old photo chronicle of Russian weapons.

Photos of the early twentieth century are priceless documents of the history of the Russian defense industry, which has preserved the glory of Russian Damascus steel and the skill of Tula gunsmiths.
