Book publishing and electronic environment: “Strelka” Institute opened a publishing project Strelka Press

A new Publishing House Strelka Press plans to focus on the issue of low-cost e-books covering the problems of architecture, design and urban development.

At the Moscow Book Festival that took place in June in the Central House of Artists were presented new books of the new publishing project Strelka Press. Strelka Press is a division of the Institute “Strelka”, an international non-profit organization founded in Moscow in 2009.

As the organizers of a new publishing house say, the mission of Strelka Press is to promote a new thinking in design, architecture and urban development to absolutely new substantive and formal grounds. The publishers present a new book format - a compact and inexpensive e-book, “which is available instantly and for a moderate price”.

By now, the publishing house has released six books. Books, already issued by the publishing house Strelka Press, are available at the project’s website.
