Internet-resources: Google to launch educational website on Internet threats in Russia

Internet-company Google has launched an educational website “Good to know”, which provides information on the major threats in the Internet and ways of its protection.

The portal contains information about the major threats on the Internet, including phishing, malware and viruses, fraud at online stores, communication risks and theft of personal data.

According to Google, portal visitors can find out how to avoid risks on the network, to create secure passwords, to manage personal data on the Internet, to defend against malicious software and verify the reliability of websites and others.

Also the site contains information about the Google tools to protect personal data - for example, the two-step authentication. Besides, visitors of an Internet resource "Good to know" can find out what information Google keeps about them and for what purposes it uses for.

The website "Good to know" is available in 60 languages.
