Book culture and society: Book fair in the framework of II International Platonov Arts Festival is held in Voronezh

June 8-10, 2012 in Voronezh for the first time is held a book fair, organized in the framework of the II International Platonov Arts Festival.

Over 30 independent Russian publishing houses, which offer to visitors an artistic, historical and children's literature, books on philosophy and political science, biographies, memoirs and books on art take part in the fair.

An outdoor reading room, children's area, where are held children’s master classes and educational games, a conference room, where the creative meetings, autograph sessions and round tables with participation of famous Russian writers are organized on the square. The book club “Petrovsky” as well as the Nikitin Library became platforms for literary events.
