Memorable dates of Russia: Exhibition “Memory and Honor to the feat of people!” marking the 200th anniversary of the Patriotic War of 1812 in Moscow

To the 200th anniversary of the victory of Russian arms in the Patriotic war of 1812 in the Blue exhibition hall of the Russian State Library opened the exhibition "Memory and Honor to the feat of people! marking the 200th anniversary of Russia's victory in the Patriotic war of 1812".

A large-scale exhibition of artifacts, books, posters, music publications was created by the specialists of the military literature department, the research department of manuscripts, the research department of rare books, cartographic department and music publications and sound recordings of the RSL.

Also on display are presented coins of Russia and France of 1812, a copy of the decree of Napoleon to the outbreak of war with Russia, brass militias cross, cards, military cards and, of course, books. Publications relating to the historiography of the regiment, which were produced in very small print runs and which were at all Russian regiments - colorful, gold-embossed velvet in vivid covers, like the beautiful "Historical review of the Life Guards of Izmailovsky regiment 1796 - 1896" were one of the most interesting and rare.
