Memorable dates of Russia: The Christianization of the Kievan Rus’ is celebrated on July 28

July 28, the memory day of St. Prince Vladimir, which is celebrated in Russia as the Day of the Christianization of Kievan Rus’, with the blessing of Patriarch Kirill there will take place chime in churches and monasteries of all dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Patriarch Kirill, according to the tradition, marks the festival in Kiev. This year the Patriarch's visit to the Ukrainian capital takes place on July 26-28.
