World culture: Tudor time jewelry to be displayed in Kremlin

The Moscow Kremlin will host the exhibition of works of art and objects of Tudor time, "The Golden Age of English Court: From Henry VIII to Charles I». The exhibition will run in the One-Pillar Chamber of the Patriarch's Palace and Exhibition Hall of the Assumption Belfry from October 26, 2012 to January 27, 2013.

The exhibition will feature cold steel and firearms, costumes, parade armor of kings of England, historical treasures, as well as elements of interior decoration, ceremonial vessels and other items.

Also within the exhibition will be given a series of lectures, in particular, "Henry VIII and the birth of the Renaissance court in England," "English Elysium: Artistic and Intellectual Life of the Court of Elizabeth I», and others.
